This is the first stage of the 3-stage process where the grinding of the concrete down to the desired exposure level is met.
The second stage happens when we grout/hardens the floor-filling in any holes and cracks, giving the floor a tighter more refined appearance. The final stage is sealing the concrete to preserve the desired look of the floor.
Levels range from full exposure where stones in the concrete are highly visible, random exposure where there can be patches of full exposure and minimal exposure, and minimal exposure where as little as possible stone can be seen in the concrete.
When it comes to high-traffic indoor areas though, we would recommend mechanically polished concrete as it can withstand long-term wear and tear.

The final stage of the process is to apply the sealer, we use high-grade concrete sealants to ensure your floor stays looking like new for years to come. Depending on the finish, there are premium concrete sealants we can recommend, ones that provide great durability and resistance to scratching, staining, and heat.
